Wash it with baking soda in the wash cycle
Try Fabuloso. It takes the smell out of almost anything. It will take cat spray out and smoke out It's worth a try, good luck!
I have seen a product at Dick's Sporting Goods that is a laundry additive specific for performance clothing. I have not used it, but will probably try it because my bike shorts reek. Look for a detergent or additive with enzymes that will break down the stain.
I'd recommend baking soda and/or liquid fabric softener. Oxy clean may work but I do not know how it will interact with your fabric (fading, even causing it to break down faster, etc)
Try pretreating with Spray and Wash. Let it work for a while before washing. Using a detergent such as Tide Fresh Scents might help. Also try washing in hot water. This will help kill any residual bacteria. If it smells after you wash it, wash it again before drying. After it's washed, dry it immediately. Obviously it would be best to wash soon after wearing. It might even help to spray on the pretreat as soon as you're done using it.
If all this doesn't work you'll need to replace the items.
I cycle a lot and sometimes I get jerseys that look fine but just get to the point that I can't wear them after a while but at least I don't have someone in a headlock!
