How does one go about getting there clothing in stores?

I have a skater/urban clothing line and i was just wondering how i would go about selling my stuff in stores. I would prefer not to open my own store just yet.

i think that you need to have a showcase or fashion show were you invite some stores owners or marketers to the show so they know what you want then you have to set up a meeting afterwards ( if they dont' come to you first) to follow up ..... the easiest way to get them to contact you is have a program that they get at the door with your contact info.... good luck
