Why do nylon clothing always get static electric charges when I wear them?

I've never recalled having this problem a few years or more back, but I find that nowadays, whenever I wear nylon (especially basketball shorts, but also a few shirts and a basketball jersey), the clothing always gathers some sort of static charge. It feels really itchy and whenever i pull up the clothing, it always crackles... Any ideas on what's going on and how to stop this problem? I just hope that my body hasn't become electrically charged -__-...Thanks for helping.

It's just the nature of nylon clothing. Try spraying your clothes with StaticGard before putting them on. It does help.
